Chasing Boundaries
I'm collaborating with Prof. Hasan Demirkoparan on enhancing solvers for boundary value problems, supported by a QRDI/QNRF research grant, alongside Anurag Aryal.

/ what interests me
01
Applied mathematics. The centre of it. Numerical methods, BVPs — turning something you can describe into something you can solve.
02
Computer science. What gets a model off the whiteboard and running at scale.
03
Mathematical modelling. The bridge. I like it when abstract maths turns out to describe something real.
04
Finance, as the application. Where I want to point all of it. Finding my BVPs inside Black–Scholes was the moment it clicked — pricing and risk are applied maths in a different hat.
05
Mathematical reasoning. Can software help us check our own arguments? I keep coming back to this one.

My interests are in applied mathematics and computer science, and I’d like to take both towards finance. It’s the same maths, just aimed at a different problem.
Next is probably a master’s in computational and applied mathematics. If you work in this area, get in touch.
