What I'm Working On
I’m currently collaborating with Prof. Hasan Demirkoparan on enhancing solvers for boundary value problems (BVPs), supported by a QRDI/QNRF research grant. I am also working with Anurag Aryal on this project.
What Interests Me
I'm drawn to the intersection of math, computer science, and finance. Specifically:
Mathematical Modeling: I love when theoretical math (like the BVPs I'm researching) connects to real-world problems.
Computer Science: I’m keen on how computational thinking and algorithm design underpin the tools used across finance and modelling.
Quantitative Finance: How do we use computational methods to model markets, price options, and build trading strategies? The math behind it is fascinating.
Algorithmic Trading: The idea of using algorithms to make trading decisions in real-time is what initially pulled me into this field.
Mathematical Reasoning: How can software help us structure and verify mathematical arguments? I find this question increasingly interesting.
What's Next
I'm still exploring options. I'm leaning toward graduate study (master's for now—PhD may follow) with a focus on computational and mathematical engineering with application in finance, and I remain interested in computer science, AI, and mathematics, or any interdisciplinary area that brings these fields together.
If you're working on something in this space or just want to chat about it, I'd love to hear from you.
